DermLite DL5 Plus builds on the proven DL5 platform with significantly brighter illumination, enhanced UV fluorescence dermoscopy, wireless connectivity, and an integrated digital workflow.

Designed for professional dermoscopy, DL5 Plus combines true 10× magnification, premium 32 mm optics, variable polarization, PigmentBoost technology, and 365 nm UV illumination in a compact handheld device.

Compared with the DL5, illumination is substantially brighter across all modes, while 365 nm UV fluorescence is more than twice as bright, supporting enhanced visualization of vascular structures, pigmentation contrasts, porphyrins, vitiligo, fungal infections, and other subtle findings.

Wireless connectivity with the DermLite App allows clinicians to control device functions directly from a smartphone, capture and organize dermoscopic images, document follow-up examinations, and integrate imaging into a streamlined digital dermoscopy workflow.

With DL5 Plus, dermoscopy lighting modes can be controlled directly from the DermLite App, creating a faster and more consistent imaging workflow. The MultiShot function allows clinicians to capture multiple dermoscopic images in different lighting modes, including polarized and non-polarized views, with a single press of the shutter button, making lesion documentation and follow-up comparison easier and more standardized.

The DermLite App simplifies both short- and long-term lesion monitoring by allowing clinicians to capture and manage multiple dermoscopic images of the same lesion or body region over time. Images can be compared side by side, linked to clinical overview photographs using lesion markers, and assigned to precise anatomical locations with a 2D body map. Patient profiles can be created with basic information or managed anonymously or semi-anonymously using individual patient IDs, providing a fast and intuitive workflow for consistent follow-up documentation.
